Rare printing of the introduction to this educational undertaking in two series of fifty volumes each, one for juveniles and one for older children and their parents. This introduction maps out the plan of the series and was sent out shortly after the prospectus. It was later printed as part of the first volume of the series. OCLC locates only one copy of the separate printing, Univ. College, London. AAS has a similar item with different pagination. A very good copy lacking the front wrapper, scattered foxing.
