This infielder debuted in 1932 with the St. Louis Cardinals, playing there and for several other teams before retiring in 1948; in 1945 he played shortstop for the Detroit Tigers in the World Series, catching the final out in game seven. Handsome "Best Wishes, Jim" and signature in blue ballpoint, heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p., n.y. Fine. Attractive later life example.
