December 6, 1809" A note on the endpaper opposite reads "Bought at the Vendue After the death of Alanson and Mary Rittenhouse December 5th, 1844 by John T. Risler, price 20 cents." OCLC does not locate any copies but one was located at AAS #358124. Divided into two sections, the small songbook lists the words for 28 Divine Songs, followed by a list of the "10 Commandments" and the "Sum of the Ten," as well as words for 3 Hosannas, and "Glory to the Father." The section titled, "Moral Songs," lists the words for 8 songs. This is an early copy of a hymn book that was later revised and reprinted.
