Pictorial Cover. Condition: Good. The spine strip has brown cloth. The endpapers have a blue, floral design. 16 stories; 4 plates of color lithographs; full-page and in-text b/w illustrations. The front board states, Cinderella and Other Fairy Tales, and Printed in Bavaria. The front pastedown has a bookbinder's label in Leicester. Some of the illustrations have the illustrator's initials or name: ESH, E. Nister, A.D., M.Irwin, W. Foster, AW, GHT, AH. The top edge of the spine strip is frayed, and the bottom edge is more so. About a third of the paper is worn off the boards' edges. The front board has a 1 in. area that has sheen loss, a linear 1/2 in. lightly rubbed spot, and a 1/12 in. nick in the smoke part of the illustration. The back board (white) has discoloration from shelf wear, handling, and tiny scratches. The front endpaper's fold is split. The centerfold pages for one story is loosened from the bottom two staples. Very light, fingerprint soiling is on the bottom and front margins of about a fifth of the pages. Scans e-mailed upon request. International shipping will require extra cost.
