Stout small quarto in full blue cloth with elaborate gilt decorative pictorial design to cover and spine. 1st edition thus. Lavishly illustrated with beutiful color plates with lettered tissue guards from art by Warwick Goble. Cloth crimped and rubbed with trace dray at spine ends; a short 2 inch tear to the cloth along the rear joint at crown has been archivally mended with minimal application of PVA.
