A beautiful example of the Whitman Classics Series number 2129. DJ shows only minor edge and corner bumps/small tears along with light toning and spotting on the flaps. Brown cloth boards underneath are clean with only minor corner bumps. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight, if this book was read does not show. Pages are quite toned due to age and type of paper used. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. The only evidence of handwriting found in the book is on the upper corner of the front end page where there is a very faint indentation of what may have been a price once penciled. Henry E.
