Published by Sheed and Ward Ltd in 1971, here is the first hardback printing of Eugen Walter's The First Epistle to the Corinthians (New Testament for Spiritual Reading series) edited by John McKenzie. Yellow cloth binding, gilt lettering, 192 pages,… the book is in very good condition with some light marking to the cloth covers. Previous owner, Oxford scholar and Hertford College fellow Tony Cockshut has written his signature to the front free end paper. Tony has also made a few pencil marks in the borders. The glossy white dust jacket is very good with some general finger marking and spotting to the top and bottom edges.
