The facsimile contained in this volume is of one of only six large-paper copies of his "gothic manifesto." It describes Strawberry Hill and its contents and is enhanced by numerous watercolor illustrations, every then-known print of Strawberry Hill, and several engraved portraits of Walpole and his circle.
