Book is straight, square, lightly and uniformly age toned (some age fading to blue-dyed top edge) and, except for gauze showing along gutter of appendix p15, free of markings and other blemishes; ribbon marker is intact and color-faded. Cover is clean and bright, with light bumping and rubbing to lower corners, joints, headcap and tail, sharp upper corners, straight spine, hinges and edges, and boldly legible gilt spine lettering.
