Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Aubrey Beardsley (illustrator). 2nd Edition. Quoting from the flap of the dust jacket: "Aubrey Beardsley, the eccentric and highly gifted artist who delighted and shocked the literary and art world in the nineties, died in March 1898 at the age of 25. His career was brief, brilliant and scandalous. Today, his work, reassessed after more than a half a century, remains as powerful and controverial as ever." Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket has a fair amount of edge wear, particularly at the spine tips and corners and a few small tears, repaired with common tape. The hard covers are generally clean and bright except for one tiny brown spot on the front board. Inside, there is a name and date in red on the upper corner of the left endpaper but that is the only mark I found in the book. The interior pages and plates are clean and bright throughout, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
