The front cover and spine of the book covers have black and gilt dec…orations The text pages are clean and bright. The front pastedown page has a previous owner's bookplate. The front endpaper has a three inch+ tear to the spine edge that has a chip. All eleven full page illustrations are included and are in generally clean, bright condition. Several of the tissue guards have some edge tears, or chips.
