A recipe book for cocktails and mixed drinks. A very unusual binding of real wood boar…ds (decorated) with metal hinges held together by being tied together with straps of leather. Very pretty (in my opinion). The book overall is very good to very good plus with a few pages showing evidence of being exposed to some moisture at some point. Very unusual. BX14. Condition is Near Fine: very clean, binding strong & straight, pages off-white & unmarked, though tanned; pages 58-59 show offsetting from newspaper clipping laid in. Front tissue guard intact. Dye from wood has bled onto endpapers. with tanning., corners crisp. The DJ is , with rubbing to extremities, chips, unclosed tears; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free!
