A Hungarian edition of Vertés' book Amandes Vertes (i.e., Green Almonds, but also a pun on the artist's name), published in French in 1952. Attractive book with many sketches reproduced. A memoir of the artist's Paris years, basically between the two World Wars, when he was a leading portrayer of gai Paris. Afterword by Lazar Endre Bajomi, giving a chronology of Vertés' life. The afterword also reproduces some of Vertés' earlier Hungarian work, which was more political and expressionist.
