R.'. to front free endpaper. An interesting collection of various works regarding fox hunting. Edited and selected by Lord Willoughby De Broke. From the Ascott House library, owned by the de Rothschild family. The library was created following the conversion of the billiards room in 1936 and was predominantly filled with books collected by Anthony de Rothschild. In half calf signed binding. Externally, very smart with some light shelf wear only. A few marks to the boards and some minor offsetting to the front and rear free end papers. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with some light spots to the front and back. Heavier on the fore edge but this does not affect the text or illustrations. Near Fine. G. D. Armour (illustrator). book.
