Slim quarto (23cm.); publisher's cream color-illustrated wrappers, French flaps; [40]pp.; color illus. throughout. Wrapper extremities slightly rubbed and rather toned, light soil, else Very Good, internally fine. Czech poet Václav Ren 's interpretation in verse of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel," lavishly illustrated by a young(ish) Jiri Trnka (1912-1969).
