In good plus dark red cloth boards, with blind stamped outline of a king and cleric and another man in front of building and gilt titles to spine. The boards are a little wobbly and have slight collapsed hollow. There is some discolouration to fron…t tail end and there is a roll to the spine. The end papers feature a black and orange and white illustration of soldiers and crowds and ships and are quite clean. The text block is illustrated with numerous black and white photos, reproductions and drawings. The pages are even and securely attached to the boards. The prelims are a little foxed and the cut edges are age-toned. No dedications etc. In good plus condition. Without jacket. Heavy. Please contact us for cost of postage.
