Sie erlauben uns, die Wahrnehmung der materialisierten Struktur der Autobahnen, ihrer Möblierung mit Schildern, Schallschutzwänden in Normdesign, ihrer gestalteten, überformten und zugleich verdreckten Randstreifen für nebensächlich zu erklären. Sie sind nicht objektiv, sondern gehorchen unseren inneren Werturteilen, passen ihre Tätigkeit unserem Willen an. Gehen wir, gewillt, wach zu sehen, Straßen wie zum Beispiel Autobahnen entlang, dann werden die Augen zum "Herren".
