Shuey, "The Testing of Negro Intelligence," (1958), and a 1962 Alabama state commissioned report, "The Biology of the Race Problem," which was distributed by the National Putnam Letters Committee of New York, and the 1962 book by the same Mr. Putnam, "Race and Reason." All of the above asserting that, contrary to evidence, Blacks were inherently and biologically a less intelligent race. The book also includes the essay, "The Study of Race," by Sherwood L Washburn of U.Cal. Berkley as additional information to refute the above works of, what are now considered, pseudo-science.
