A book to acquaint US soldiers with Korea during the immediate post-war period, including sections on History, People, Religion, Industry, as well as the then current political situation aft…er the Japanese occupation forces had departed. This was a unified Korea, soon to be racked by the Korean War and partition. Laid in are several ephemeral items dated 1946-47, of the original owner, including military driving permit and vacination certificate. The front cover of the book is heavily chipped to the fore-edge, inside is clean and unmarked. Overall grades Very Good Minus.
