Format in-4°( 29,8 x 22,6 cm )( 1305 gr ). Condition: Very Good. Volume e custodia in seta nera con titolo in oro e tavolina a colori applicata, CXIX tavole a colori. Breve introduzione redatta in francese, inglese, italiano, tedesco e giapponese / Brief introduction in French, English, Italian, German and Japanese. Book.

Leonard took out a patent for this technique which allows to knit with a continuous print. In 1983, Japan asked him to design a line of kimonos. For the first time in 2642 years, since the birth of the Japanese kimono, a Westerner has the right to penetrate the secret of making traditional kimonos. In 1984, after several months of work in Kyoto and the study of "Japanese floral symbolism," he presented his first collection of kimonos in Japan. That year will be published the first art book representing 20 years of drawings, under the title "The art of Leonard" by Daniel Tribouillard. E-117; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 3 pages.
