Minor foxing to top edge. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has edge wear, including chips, tears and creases, some of which have been tape repaired on the reverse side. Spine title is faded. Some overall soil Front panel and reverse side is foxed. The story of an air race from London, England to Victoria, British Columbia, held as part of the events to mark the centennial celebrations of the province in 1971. Many of the short chapters are first hand accounts from the participants themselves. Illustrated with black and white photographs. This copy has been signed and inscribed to a previous owner by, I believe, B.C. Premier W.A.C. Bennett, and within by Air Marshal C.L. Annis, and race participants, Paul Gilmore and Grant and Jill Davidson. A scarce copy.
