Demy 8vo, pp,xxxiv,68,13, bound in grey boards with the original printed front wrapper laid to the upper cover, printed paper label to the spine, from the "London & Middlesex Archaeolical Society" of which Charles Welch was the Vice-President, the Society's letter regarding this is attached to the leading free endpaper, uncut, partially unopened, a not often seen item. Charles Wech [1850-1914] was a noted bibliographer and librarian to the Guildhall Library. The volume contains meticulous transcripts of the medieval and early modern financial records covering the years 1455 to 1536. Regarded as the most important single source for the history of the medieval and early modern parish. They survived the Great Fire of 1666, as the church was located on the northern edge of the city.
