First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Thought to be first edition and printing. From Loeb Classical Library series. In very good shiny red cloth boards, with gilt initials to front and gilt titles to spine. The boards are clean and flat and a fairly wobbly from slight weak hinge; spine ends and edges sound. Very lightly tanned free end papers; with name of previous owner and brief address on front free end paper. The text block is secure and level and not marked. Publisher's list to rear. Very good condition. Without jacket. Rare edition.
