No Jacket. 2nd Impression (1st-1921). 272 pp.; only visible flaws are some patches of surface sheen loss to black cloth covers when held at an angle to the light, v.slight hint of outward bowing top front cover and trace of dust to top edge, none of this reducing it much below Fine in my judgement. A controversial work published in the context opf psychoanalytic controversies about childhood sexuality etc., the authour's identity remains controversial although is commonly claimed to be Grete Lainer, an associate of pioneer psychoanalyst Hermine Hug-Helmuth (who was murdered, but that's another story.).…
