Incredible collection of photographs--including many nudes--by the Czech photographer Jan Saudek.Translated from the Czech into Dutch & then into English, this is the FIRST English-language Edition from 1991, with 2-page Introduction by Michael Tournier & autobiographical text & photos in rear. 160 pp. Very large (10" x 13") 4to has matte black cloth-over-boards, starkly provocative in its plainness (no lettering). Condition is Near Fine: just slightly less crisp than Brand New! Exceptionally clean & bright, binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages white & unmarked. A hint of rubbing to bottom edges of both boards. The unclipped DJ is also Fine: clean & bright & protected in new 2.5 mil clear mylar cover to stay that way.
