There is no writing, but there are several fingermarks, small/light stains. One page has a 1/2" tear. This original story is rather hard-to-find, especially in First Printing. Sturdy and complete.

This 1949 "A", First Edition of Bugs Bunny is in wonderful condition both inside and out. It has a very clean & bright cover with only light shelf wear. It has very nice edges and corners. The golden spine is complete & the spine ends are very, very good. This is a tight & firm book. The pages are bright and clean without wrinkles or writing. No names. #008720-324.

It contains the sentence ".Prepared under the supervision of Mary Reed, PH.D. Pages are naturally aged but very clean and uncreased. There is light edge wear and a bit of rounding to the cover corners. Back cover has wear and lists craft and hobby books. Binding is very good. "Nana's Library" is written on top of title page. "Little Golden Book" is printed in a yellow bar across the cover with 27 cents at the end. No other marks at all. A really nice little collectible. Unpaginated.
