Condition: Good. 1909. No edition remarks. 224 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Contains black and white illustrated plates. Pages are moderately tanned with visible foxing. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges. Notable water staining to front pastedown. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Heavy tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing and tearing to ends. Mild warping to boards. Mild water stains and droplets to front board.

Red cloth boards; decorations and titles on front and rear. Black and white plates by various artists, including Hugh Thomson and W. Heath Robinson. 36 pages of advertisements at rear. Boards with several stains and marks; lightly edgeworn, with bumped corners and crushed ends of spine; spine and adjacent part of rear board faded. Scattered small spots on edges of text block. Endpapers lightly foxed; previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Pages mostly clean; a few spots in places. Binding firm.
