"Seven Regina Photographers, 1985 is an initial attempt on the part of the MacKenzie Art Gallery to focus on the work of photographers from a centre not usually noted for its photography. The notable activity which does occur in Regina has, in part, been overshadowed by the leadership role assumed by the Photographers Gallery in Saskatoon which has functioned as a focul point for Saskatchewan photographers" -Norman Zepp (Assistant Curator).
