Add to basketreliure spirale plastique, emb.

Contact seller2-star sellerLoose leaves in a box. Condition: Used. Just one year after The A-Z Book, young Thomas Ockerse published this one as a young professor at Indiana University. A magnificent showcase of concrete poetry and graphic puns. Presented as a portfolio of fifty loose leaves printed via silkscreen (by Ockerse) and offset, the whole is wild…ly imaginative. It comes with a five-page introduction and checklist by the Danish poet and artist Vagn Steen. A fun and beautiful thing. RARE. Watch a flip-through of the whole thing » The contents are fine. The chipboard box is solid as a rock but shows minor soiling as is likely to happen when something is 55-years-old and covered in white paper. 907.

Contact seller2-star sellerPlastic comb binding in a box. Condition: Used. Before there was Kelli Anderson's Alphabet in Motion, there was Thomas Ockerse's A-Z Book. Although more modest in aim and scope than Kelli's stunner, it is itself moving in its simplicity, playfulness, and silliness. In showing each of our twenty-six caps in the form of a pop-up b…ook (although nothing actually pops up), Ockerse features forms both stately and ridiculous. It's fun to see how he gets from A to Z by taking the least obvious route possible. Every film must have a beginning, a middle, and an end-but as the legendary director Jean-Luc Godard famously quipped, "not necessarily in that order." The same is true of an alphabet book, and here Ockerse has taken full advantage of that notion. A lovely thing. Watch a flip-through of the whole thing » The book itself is near fine and inscribed by Ockerse to designers Michael [McPherson] and Mary Anne [Frye] who both taught alongside him at RISD. The box shows very minor wear. 907.
