Front panel shows a scenic view of a Maine forest, past which are a partially visible lake and mountain range. 4" x 9" folded. Folds open to about 16" x 18." One leaf with eight panels printed on front and back, complete. Brochures is very clean and intact except for light age toning, splitting along some of the fold lines, and slight wear to extremities. A Very Good copy. A charming travel brochure promoting tourism to and settlement in Maine. Seven panels have printed text which briefly invite readers to consider visiting Maine for its "spring fishing," "fall hunting," "summer vacations," "autumn foliage," and "winter sports." The brochure also encourages settlement in Maine and briefly notes its successful industries and agriculture. The remaining panels of text have more promotional descriptions of Maine, a table showing railroad fares between Maine cities and other locations, and hotel, camping, and farm board rates. The entire interior of the brochure (eight panels in total) contains a decorative illustration of the state of Maine surrounded by small black-and-white photographic illustrations of various sights and scenes in Maine and its recreational opportunities.…
