R. Taylor. This volume contains transcriptions of letters by or relating to the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) that were originally written from about 1680-1687. The Preface clarifies that discrepancies in the original letters' dating system means that some of the transcribed documents herein date as early to 1679 and as late to 1694. The Preface also describes the letters in this volume as being a companion collection to the minutes of HBC. Front colophon: "Five Hundred and Fifty Copies of this Volume have been printed.
