Orig. published in 1934, this is a later "blue tweed" printing (1959B-50, per Farah's 11th), with multipic endpapers & a wrap DJ with the 2…nd cover art by Bill Gillies, though it retains the original plain frontispiece by Russell Tandy; no internals. Orig. text in 219 pages, 25 chapters. Condition is VG+: very clean & bright, with mild rubbing to extremities & bumped corners. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages white & unmarked except for some spotting of unknown origin to bottom outside page edges (photo 5). Blue topstain is deep & rich. The unclipped DJ (listing to ND #36 on front flap, VB#12 on rear flap, DG#20 on back cover) is also VG: exceptionally clean, colorful, & bright, with very light edgewear, the worst of which is small chip at lower spine & light creasing/chipping at head of spine/upper back cover; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
