These five issues are early in the journal's run and have photos of people and places especially important during this beginning of the later Israeli state. Hebrew text. Mostly VG but one cover slightly spotted and another has ink writing blurred by dampstaining. Gazith published articles in art history, theater, architecture, music, painting and sculpting in Western countries as well as in South-East Asia, India and Japan. It also published short monographs of Israeli and Jewish artists, as well as stories, poems and updated coverage of art events in Israel.
