Condition: Fair. Half bound leather with marbled paper covered boards. Six plays bound together, paginated and dated separately. Red speckled text block edges. Ownership plate belonging to Rev. Henry Hellier to front. Includes: The Medea of Euripedes; The Orestes of Euripedes; The Alcestis of Euripedes; The Antigone of Sophocles; Philoctetes of Sophocles; King Oedipus of Sophocles. Pages are clean overall, with mild tanning throughout and some foxing. Noticeable cracking to front hinge, however binding remains attached. Board remains attached. Minor brown stains to top edge of front pastedown. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Visible tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Leather peeling to spine and edges with noticeable tears and scratches.…
