Condition: Near Fine. First edition, complete in two hardback volumes. Both volumes are quarto (28cm by 21cm). Volume 1 (the sketchbook) has 64 pages of sketches. Volume 2 (the text) has 56 pages and 58 text illustrations. Both volumes are bound in blue cloth with the titling blocked in silver on the spine, and the books are housed in a green card slipcase. There is a minor scuffmark to the front board of volume 2, else the books are in very good condition; the slipcase is in good to very good condition (some light rubbing, light indentation of the main panels).
