Previously he was active in the Civil Right Movement as a Freedom Rider and lawyer to Malcolm X and his wife.

Complete with heavily worn and crudely repaired original slipcase, branded 'The Piccaninnies Library' to lid. Topsy In Toyland: final page of text has some surface loss and small mark to board.
