Appendix contains large fold-out copy of broadsheet entitled "The Sucklington Faction: or (Suckling's) Roaring Boyse," Gilt on spine of Binding is unfaded. 252 + xxi (unnumbered) pages of Appendix + foldout. See Photos. Suckling (1609 - 1642) is best remembered for two of his poems: "The Constant Lover" and "Why So Pale and Wan Fond Lover". These two volumes present the corpus of his work, at least as then known. Hazlitt (1834 - 1913) was a well-known English lawyer, bibliographer, editor and writer. This work is also titled "The Poetical Works of Sir John Suckling".
