Illustrated tan endpapers; slender tearing of surface paper along front and rear hinges but discreet glue pairs to both; non-authorial six-line ink gift inscription on front flyleaf recto; some toning and/or light staining to initial and rear leaves but interior pages overall remain clean. Binding is firm. Minnesota bookseller ticket "Mabel Ulrich's Book Shop Minneapolis St. Paul Duluth Rochester" affixed at rear pastedown's bottom left.
