La tavola, numerata 14, raffigura una drammatica scena ambientata in un anfiteatro, dove una tigre, sfuggita alla gabbia, assale un uomo inerme sotto gli occhi di una folla atterrita assiepata sulle gradinate. Il distico latino sottostante narra come la belva, spezzati i vincoli, si scagli contro l'uomo, mentre un arciere interviene scoccando una freccia al petto dell'animale per fermarne la furia. Un gruppo di pescatori opera da una zattera utilizzando una lanterna per attirare i pesci verso la superficie, dove vengono catturati con fiocine e altri strumenti. Sulla riva alcuni spettatori, tra cui una dama e un fanciullo, assistono all'attività, trasformando la scena in una rappresentazione al tempo stesso documentaria e di genere. L'incisione illustra una tecnica di pesca tradizionale già nota in età rinascimentale, in cui la luce artificiale sfrutta il naturale comportamento dei pesci, attratti dalla luminosità nelle ore notturne. La tavola, raffigura una scena naturalistica ambientata in Puglia, come ricorda il distico latino in basso (Nutrit squamosos Appulia vasta Colubros), nel quale si narra come gru e cicogne affrontino i serpenti per difendere i propri nidi e i piccoli. La composizione unisce osservazione della natura e gusto enciclopedico rinascimentale: in primo piano gli uccelli combattono i rettili mentre due cacciatori assistono alla scena, sullo sfondo di un paesaggio attraversato da un ponte e punteggiato da edifici.  In ottimo stato complessivo, impressione nitida.
