Contact seller5-star sellerHardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Not a first edition-the title was originally published in 1908, and this lists all 5 books in the series. Exterior has bumped head and heel of spine without fabric tears, lightly bumped corners, moderate general wear but no fading, and noticeable wear on the front panel illustration (see ph…oto); fore edge has several stains that do not penetrate. Interior has weakening hinges that are still moderately strong (the end page paper covering the cloth has torn the entire length of each hinge); frontis + 6 is intact; pages are clean and free of writing and stains; though lightly toned, pages are very flexible.
