The first of only two published issues of this racialist journal founded by the British-born anthropologist, academic, and white nationalist, Roger Pearson, in 1967 after accepting an academic appointment at the University of Southern Mississippi. Pearson edited Race and a separate journal, the anti-Semitic New Patriot, under th…e pseudonym Stephen Langton. All of the content for this inaugural issue appears to have been written by Pearson/Langton. This includes an article on white-controlled South Africa & Rhodesia, which he compares to the American South, as the only places where "Nordic or Aryan-Caucasian peoples live under a government of their own which is fully determined to protect the race from mongrelization and genetic annihilation" (p. 1). In "Germany - Still Divided," he encourages Germans to move past their unnecessary war guilt and to embrace the cultural traditions that have made them great. Other articles address the family of Aryan languages, the U.N.'s destructive race-mixing policy, the Biblical basis for racial differences, race and intelligence, and the Italian Renaissance, with three book reviews concluding this issue. The journal's short-lived existence is likely explained by Pearson's agreement to assume editorial duties of The Mankind Quarterly, an academic racialist journal.
