Draft script for an unproduced film. Note laid in from agent Paul Kohner to Mel Tucker, dated June 23, 1966. A group of Nazis steal a truck of gold during the war, eventually hiding it in a cave on the Portuguese coast. Years later, a group of thieves begin looking for the loot. Set in Portugal. Blue titled wrappers. Title page present, with credits for screenwriter Stephen Kandel. 156 leaves, with last page of text numbered 154. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good, with a portion neatly cut from bottom right corner of front wrapper, clearly as issued, to reveal a quote from Lewis Carroll on the first leaf (see image). An aging millionaire arranges to have his daughter-a cold-hearted, nosy serial bride-kidnapped and taken to a chateau in rural France in order to stop her from interfering in his libidinous affairs. Screenwriter Stephen Kandel was best known as a writer for television in the late 20th century, including episodes of "Sea Hunt," "Hawaii Five-O," "The Six Million Dollar Man," and "MacGyver." From the estate of film producer Elliott Kastner, whose best known credits include "The Long Goodbye" (Robert Altman, 1973), "The Missouri Breaks" (Arthur Penn, 1976), and "Heat" (Michael Mann, 1996). Set in London, Paris, and rural France. White self-wrappers, with title integral with the first leaf, as issued. 28 leaves, with last page of text numbered 28. Spirit duplication, rectos only. Final Corrected script for Episode 7 Season 5 of the 1969-1976 television series. The episode originally aired on October 29, 1973, on CBS. Noted as copy No. 19 in manuscript ink on the front wrapper. The long-running medical drama series followed two surgeons at a university hospital in Los Angeles, with a changing roster of patients showcased in each episode. In this installment, a young woman diver struggles with the pressure of competitive diving. Bright orange titled wrappers, dated September 17, 1973, stamped FILE COPY, noted as FINAL CORRECTED SCRIPT and production No. 7890 on the front wrapper, with credit for screenwriter Stephen Kandel.
