Un curioso viaggio attraverso panorami di particolari veicoli lasciati nell'oblio, bisognosi di amorevoli restauri; panorami punteggiati da tante Alfa Romeo, allora magari all'ultima moda, oggi ormai d'epoca. e arru…gginite. È vero, la ruggine rovina tutto: mangia le lamiere, gonfia la vernice, rende la vettura impresentabile per molti. ma in realtà ha il pregio della traccia storica importante, quella di una vettura "conservata", molto utile per futuri restauri. Ecco come possono raccontare di sé, molto più di quanto possa apparire a uno sguardo distratto, due rarissime Alfa 1900. o autocarri che hanno trascorso nove vite. Un'opera suggestiva nella quale le immagini parlano da sole, ma che contiene anche note multilingue (italiano, inglese, francese e tedesco), interessanti e anche ironiche, per permettere a tutti (anche i meno esperti) di apprezzare gli scatti inediti contenuti nelle oltre cento pagine.
