Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. A great little book in baby blue covers, 64 pages staple bound. This is the november december 1916 edition with photo of the editor Steadwell on front cover. very good shape. minor wear.

Fair to Good. Covers have some staining and soiling, corners bumped, blank page before the title page removed.

Printed on white paper with blue lettering, WPF logo, and photo of First Baptist Church, La Crosse, WI, on front, list of officials on back. Includes numerous photos of speakers and officials of the World's Purity Federation. Covers foxed and slightly soiled, ink stain on front not interfering with text, one page with pencil mark.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Very Good. Salesman's Sample. 8vo. Inconsistent pagination. Red publisher's cloth with black and gold lettering and a mounted black and white illustration on the front board, the design of the spine of the original publication stamped on the rear board. With six leaves of notepaper at the end of the volume, for the salesman to record the names and addresses of those who wish to buy the book. A salesman's sample with portions of the book's text and a few of the engravings. From the title page: "Truthful and chaste account of the hideous trade of buying and selling young girls for immoral purposes. Startling disclosures made by white slaves during the trials of many procurers and traders. The cruel and inhuman treatment of white slaves. The astounding confession of a pander.
