Postcard. Condition: Fine. An uncommon view by Zaccarelli's of the once-thriving mining town of Conrad City, nicely enhanced by the sternwheeler 'Gleaner' sitting at the ore dock. Color collotype postcard, printed on divided back stock measuring 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches wide. Card w. toning verso, else fine and postally unused. "Conrad was founded in 1905 by Colonel J.H. Conrad of the Conrad Consolidated Mining Company, and had about 300 residents at its peak. It was abandoned within a decade once falling silver prices drove the company into bankruptcy."
