Original 5 1/2 x 10 inch February-April, 1923 calendar which flips up to 19 1/2 inches to reveal some of the line of clay drain tiles, chimney flue linings, fire bricks and crockery from Eastern Clay Goods, with a full color 3 7/8 x 5 inch paste-on by Frederic Stanley, " An Unreliable Reminder",…depicting a boy staring at a string tied on his finger with a shopkeeper smiling at him. Very good. Age yellowed, slight crease along side edge, corners bumped, otherwise clean and unmarked. "Born in Vermont, Frederic Stanley never took formal art training. After serving as a soldier in World War I, he sold four paintings in New York City and spent the rest of his career as a successful commercial artist.
