Hardcover. Red leather boards with gilt design and lettering on front cover. Gilt lettering on spine. 126 pages, 8 unnumbered leaves of plates : color illustrations (hand-coloured wood-engravings). Full edge gilt. by W. Edwards Staite, author of "The lays and legends of Normandy." G Cover has general wear, staining and fading. Spine damaged, missing pieces of outer spine, partially seperated from bookblock. Bookblock has age toning. Interior pages have foxing and age toning. some pencil markings on inside of book.
