Ernst Stadelmann war Professor an der Universität Berlin und wurde 1903 zum Direktor und Leiter der Inneren Abteilung am Städtischen Krankenhause im Friedrichshain berufen. Er arbeitete u. a. über Diabetes und erklärte als erster das diabetische Koma als eine Säurevergiftung. Von 1896 bis 1899 redigierte er die von ihm herausgegebene Zeitschrift Berliner Klinik", 1899 gründete er die Deutsche Ärzte-Zeitung". Mit kleinem e. Sichtvermerk eines Dekans König.
