Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Believed First Edition. Unusual wrapper, inner paper wrapper has book titles and this is covered by a clear removable plastic sleeve. Bothe are in very good order although plastic cover has some very slight loss to top of spine. Very slight rubbing to wrapper, no tears or fading, not price clipped. No inscriptions noted, illustrated, text is bright and clean appears almost unread. Bound by Leighton-Straker Bookbinding, page edges rough cut. Happy to supply photos on request. Overall and exceptional condition copy.

Red cloth-covered boards; gilt border and titles on front, gilt titles on spine, top text block edge sprayed red, remaining edges untrimmed. Signed by William Fish, an employee of the company, on page 88 (where he is referenced). 4to. Slightly sun-faded spine, rubbed spine ends, bottom front corner lightly bumped, some minor soiling to front. Fore and bottom text block edges tanning. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Paper dust jacket tanned, has some loss, light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage. On the company history of Dennis.
