In the city of La Plata (province of Buenos Aires) he began his law studies. Belongs to the Generation of 60. During his stay in his native province he directed the newspaper "Arauco Literario". He was among the founders of the group "Monoblock to the South". He took part in "Poetry 83" and collaborated in several literary magazines, "Macedonio" among them. In 2000 he was awarded the Silver Famatine Award (La Rioja). Squeo Acuña "belongs to that category of the unforgettable, you know them one day, and they will not come out of your memory anymore," Alberto Tasso said of him.
